Muscat – The Ministry of Labour has issued a warning to all citizens and residents regarding the employment of unlicensed workers, infiltrators, or those who have resigned from their jobs.

“Employing unlicensed workers, infiltrators, or those who have left their jobs exposes you to penalties. According to Article 143 of the Labour Law, the punishment includes imprisonment for a period not less than 10 days and not exceeding one month, and a fine of not less than RO 1,000 and not exceeding RO 2,000, or one of these penalties,” states the Ministry alert.

Additionally, the Ministry also updated all that its digital services will be suspended for the purpose of maintenance and updating, tomorrow, Friday, July 19, starting at 9:30 am, and this procedure will continue for up to 6 hours.
